Frequently Asked Questions

  • For crochet/knit pieces made of acrylic, you are able to machine on a gentle cycle with cool water. To dry, lay flat on a surface. You can also machine dry on a cool setting, however your piece is subject to shrinkage.

If your acrylic piece DOES SHRINK, steam it and stretch to your desired size.

For cotton pieces, you can also machine wash and dry them (subject to shrinkage in dryer, but stretches with use), however hand washing with light detergent and laying flat to dry is best and advised.

  • Yes! My Instagram DMs are currently open for customs pieces, feel free to message me @crochetbytyler. All custom orders require a deposit and prices vary based on the complexity of the project and the time it takes to complete.

  • Yes! If a certain item is out of stock, I will provide a link to a preorder page. Because of this, preordered pieces will take longer to ship, as I would still have to make it.

  • Using a measuring tape, here is how you take your measurements.

Collar- wrap tape around your neck, and add an additional inch for comfort.

Sleeve- starting at the top of your back, hold and extend tape to tip of your shoulder. Then measure from your shoulder to your wrist, and add both measurements.

Chest- wrap tape across the widest part of your chest, under your armpits.

Waist- wrap tape around the narrowest part of your waist.

Length- Starting from the highest point of your shoulder, hold tape from shoulder down to hemline (where the garment stops)

  • Unfortunately, I do NOT ship my products internationally.
